Our Story
Santa Maria Concierge Service is a small family business located in the busy village of Santa Maria on the island of Sal – Cape Verde.
Nina and Ben are not just business partners, but also life partners who work hand-in-hand together.
Our mission is to offer our clients personal care and attention while you are on the island or at home. We pride ourselves on excellent communication. Your wellbeing is our primary concern.
Who We Are?
Nina
Nina is German and has been living in Santa Maria since 2015. She has strong communication and organisation skills, which she gained in over 10 years as a hair dresser in Germany and improved with her administration work at a scuba diving centre on the island. Besides her mother tongue of German, she is fluent in English. Within the business, Nina is responsible for all the administration and takes care of Property Services, Personal Services and you can book all your activities and special occasions before or/and during your holidays with her.
Ben
Ben was born on Sal and has excellent language skills. He fluently speaks English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish and of course creole.
During over 20 years in the diving industry and working as a divemaster, Ben has made a lot of guests happy underwater and on the surface. In 2021 he has qualified as an Assistant – and Emergency First Responder (EFR) instructor.
Ben is perfectionist and loves manual work. His artisan talents have made him a skilled carpenter and with his love for plants and gardening, he has green fingers. He is the allrounder in our team and will assist you with Property- and Maintenance Services but also different Personal Services.
